How to print to file (prn/zpl) entire folder content

Hi all,

ther's the way to easily print the entire folder content (*.btw) to file (*.prn)?

  We would appreciate it if you could give us a little bit more context on the purpose of printing an entire folder to file (*.prn).

  If you need to export multiple .prn files at a time, perhaps an easier solution would be to use BarTender as the printing engine (by making the application directly send the print job to the printer). Have you checked the available options for integrating BarTender with other applications?
  
  For example, we could use Integration Builder this way:

  • Sending the print job directly to the printer via the workstation (without the need of exporting to printer code nor having to make modifications that could affect the code and the resulting print job).
  • Printing the same label on different printers without the need to export to file (*.prn) for different printer models.
  • This in turn would result in saving time, as we wouldn't have to create multiple new .prn files every time the label is modified.
  • Also, keep in mind making use of .prn files can severely limit your printing and designing options (such as; text formating, auto-size, variable graphics, and more).

  I would suggest going through our documentation on Exporting to Printer Code Templates as well as reviewing the automation options on Integration Builder.
