Field truncate
I connect an excel files to print some labels. Sometimes contents of text field is truncate and I don't know why.
This is not a problem about size of text box: I try to set automatic size, I try to set a very small font without
solution. There is sufficient space to print whole text - anyway some text are trunctated.

I have seen something similar with Word Processor objects a while ago that was connected to a Windows security update, see https://support.seagullscientific.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4415097743511--box-word-processing
A couple of things you may want to try/check:
Make sure you are running the latest version of 2016 (R9) as this is the recommended with Windows 10 installs
Enable the font Auto size option, rather than using a fixed font, and see what that does
Use the Transforms>Truncation to trim spaces from right of the object.

i did all your hints but problem still appears. i try also to set TEXT format to the column of excel file (normal is set to general).
Text is truncate ever at 255 (or 256..) characters: there is space enough to print more characters . Some of my text labels are composed by 280-300 characters.0 -
From a quick Google I think that is due to a limitation in the ODBC driver that by default truncates text fields to 255 characters

Pete, again thank you: if this is true, it is a BIG limitation. A simple instruction label contains more than 255 characters. I hope there is a solution because ODBC driver is a must to connect a database.

I seem to recall having updated my ODBC drivers sometime ago and having just tested with an excel sheet that included a text field with 509 characters then this printed correctly with no truncation (BarTender 2021 R7)

Thanks for suggestion: I try to verify if there is some update for my odbc driver. Unfortunatly at the moment I'm not eligible for an update to 2021 r7. I'm running win10 ARM version and I tried to install a 2019 and 2021 version but doesn't works (due to a net library version).
