Printing different rows on the same label
My data source is an excel spreadsheet with a single column of data. I would like to print two rows at a time on each label, e.g.
Label 1: row1 row2
Label 2: row3 row4
Label 3: row5 row6
etc.
Any suggestions?

Hi Jeff,
You will need to use the Records per Item setting in Database Connection setup.
This link will probably help with this

Thanks for the suggestion. Reading through this I'm wondering if this will really print multiple rows per label, or just combine multiple rows into one. Right now BarTender seems to be combining the first two rows info one row rather than printing them independently on the same label, which means I get one invalid barcode, rather than two valid barcodes. I'll keep experimenting.

Figured it out. To make this work I followed your link, but only increased the "Maximum number of records" count, skipping the two checkboxes. Then for the first value on the label I used the normal database field name and for the second value on the label I used the field[2] name. This resulted in independent barcodes and barcode values, but both on the same label. Appreciate the pointer!

The version 2016 does not have records per item function. Im struggeling to get a content label in multiple pages. (too much data to fit on 1 label)
