UCC-16 Help 追蹤

I am new to making barcodes and our company is currently shipping master containers to our distributors with a barcode that depicts a single item code.  They tell us we need to move to a UCC-16 barcode that will tell them what part number is in the container and how many are in the box as well.  Can someone point me in the correct direction on this item?

I have no idea...GS1-128 was called as UCC/EAN 128 before.
