Extreme Slowness printing to Citizen CL-S700 Driver

    Hi Alison,

    Thank you for reaching us via our BarTender Community Forums.

    Are these Citizen drivers our Drivers by Seagull™? If not, we would recommend installing these and testing their behavior.

    Also, in order to properly troubleshoot this issue, could you tell us a little bit more about your environment? What BarTender version, edition, and service release are you currently using? What Windows version is your machine currently running? And are you printing directly through BarTender Designer, or using one of our Companion Apps or Integrations?

    Hi yes they are your drivers.

    We are printing from Server 2019 VDA completely patched and up to date.  No issues with other printers.

    We have the same issue with the 2017 version of this driver too.  The driver is installed on a newly built print server 2019 for testing and still experiencing slowness printing via print server.  So the client is server 2019 and the print server is 2019.

    Also I have seen a few issues arond driver failure and port errors for bi directional printing.  I do not have this turned on is this nessary

    the printer is driver is CL s700 

     

    This is causing a major disruption in our environment
