Remembering Last Printer

We just upgraded to 2022 and are having an issue with print portal.  We have tags that are printed from different computers to different printers.  Prior to the upgrade, print portal would remember the last printer that was used on that computer.  It now seems that it remembers the last printer that any computer printed that tag to.  Anyone have any advice on how we might fix this?

  Perhaps you could work around this limitation by limiting what printers each user can print to, provided no same user shares printers, this solution should work. You can find a step-by-step guide on how to limit printers by user here.
