    Hello Evan,

Welcome to the BarTender Community Forums!

You can achieve this by using the Bartender Automation Edition or higher; which offers various integration methods, including the Bartender XML Scripting feature and the Web Print Server. Here's a general outline of the steps you would need to take:

    1. Set Up Bartender Automation Edition: Install Bartender Automation Edition on a server or a dedicated machine. This will act as your central label printing hub.

    2. Configure Label Templates: Create and design the label templates you want to use in Bartender. These templates will be used to print labels based on the data from JDE.

    3. Bartender XML Scripting: Bartender supports XML Scripting, which allows you to send data to Bartender from your JDE E1 system. In your JDE E1 system, develop a report or program that generates XML data containing the required label printing information. This can include sales order numbers or ranges. Configure the report to send the XML data to the Bartender XML Scripting feature using HTTP POST or another suitable method. Set up Bartender to process incoming XML data, extract relevant information, and initiate label printing using the appropriate template.

    4. Web Print Server: Bartender also includes the Web Print Server, which allows you to submit print jobs to Bartender over HTTP. In your JDE E1 system, develop a report or program that generates print job data based on sales order numbers or ranges. Configure the report to send the print job data to the Bartender Web Print Server using HTTP POST. Bartender's Web Print Server will process incoming print job requests and print labels based on the provided data.

    5. Integration Development: You'll need to work with your developers or consultants experienced in both JDE E1 and Bartender to implement the integration. This involves developing the required reports or programs, setting up data transfer mechanisms (XML or HTTP POST), and configuring Bartender to process incoming data and initiate label printing.

    6. Testing and Deployment: Thoroughly test the integration in a controlled environment before deploying it to your production environment. Ensure that the data transfer, label template selection, and label printing processes work as intended.

Remember that while we've outlined the general steps, the specific implementation details will depend on the versions of Bartender, JDE E1, and your organization's infrastructure. That being said, we have a Professional Services team, who in exchange for a quote can guide you through the process of setting your BarTender environment just the way you'd like to.

    I hope this helps!
