Print automatically after scan
Hello,
I want to find a way to get a label to print every time I scan a barcode, without clicking "print" or pressing the "enter" key.
I have set up a data entry form and checked the box for "repeat data entry until cancelled". I also have the text field set to "move focus between controls when data is entered by the barcode scanner", and the scanner itself is programmed to perform a carriage return after sending the scanned data.
It would seem like this combination of settings would allow me to print without hitting enter manually, but it doesn't. What can I do to get this working the way I want it?
Update (10/9): it would seem the reason this doesn't work is that Bartender requires a delay after entering data before it can print. I set the scanner to pause for 250ms between sending the data and sending the carriage return, and this enabled me to print immediately after scanning. I would still like to be able to print without this delay, if that is possible.
Thank you.

Not sure if would work any better but you could try disabling the barcode input tickbox and add a TAB and then CR/Enter as a suffix to the data

Not sure what you mean by the barcode input tickbox. The initial barcode that I need to scan is laser etched on a PCB, so I can't modify it.

It is the barcode tickbox you said you enabled in your original post

Thank you for clarifying. I've tried adjusting various settings without success. I was just wondering if there was a straightforward setting to "print automatically on data entry", but there doesn't seem to be one and things are working well enough now. Thank you for the support.
