Hi guys,

Is this possible to use 'SetNamedSubStringValue' (or something similar) to print multi-label output?

I mean to print several labels (not copies) in 2 columns without connecting BT to any database?

The SetNamedSubStringValue() method sets the value of a data source for the minimum duration of a single print job. This means one label, and/or one row on a thermal printer.

If you want to set variable data, to a single data source, on a par label on a page/row basis then you should really connect the BarTender document to a datafile/database of some kind.

It should be noted that you can use a VB script running inside the BarTender document itself to change object/datasource properties and values on a per label basis. See the below white paper for details:
