Developing In Demo Mode
Hello,
The follow command fails.
BarTender.BtPrintResult result = BartenderFormat.Print("Job", true, -1, out btMsgs);

You will need to either purchase a license of BarTender for development use or we can provide you with a temporary extension code so that BarTender runs in Trial, not in demo mode. However, this temporary code can normally just get up to maximum 30 days. Please contact your closest tech-support / sales office at Seagull for requesting this:

Thanks for the advice.
I have contacted the European sales office.
The came up with a solution.
They gave me a reseller licence, so I'm able to test my applications.

Hi!
I have the same issue. I'm developing an software that uses BarTender Print Server .NET SDK. Now I can't continue development because my 30 days of the trial period is expired. I need to complete development in another 30-45 days. My customer contacted with your support and they gave him an 45-days key extension. But I can't activate my BarTender Enterprise Automation! Because Activation Wizard contains only 4 text inputs for product key code => Product Key length = 16 digits or symbols. But my customer sent me extension key that consists of 20 digits! So please tell me how to extend trial period for my BarTender Enterprise Automation version?

The trial extension code is different from the product key code. In order to enter the Trial extension code:
- Start BarTender as administrator.
- Close any open dialogs within BarTender.
- Press the F10 key.
- Enter the extension code.
- Verify that you've trial days left by going to "Help > About" dialog.
