When you go to print, check off the box that says "Print to file"

Hi - I am doing this and it works - but what I am trying to acheive is to print custom content (i.e.different names and values) by effectively replacing placeholders in the label (so e.g. replace [name] with Joe Bloggs etc).

I have this all working using print to file as above except for 2 things:

    a) if I use anything except for citizen fonts (I have a citizen printer) then the content is encoded - I need it to remain as plain text so I can update it - is there a solution to this?

    b) if I have centered content in bartender but the length changes then its no longer centered (because ZPL is using the position co-ordinate) - but what is the solution to this to get it centered?

I dont NEED to have ZPL though my current integration is using this format - I am using a 3rd party product to link my web based application with the printer and aside from the above 2 points its all working correclty.

    can you help at all?

    thanks

    Hello Shalom,

I unfortunately do not have an answer for you, but I am also using Zebra printers and ZPL variables and I am having trouble trying to get barcodes to correctly encode these variables, even through plain text fields will properly print the ZPL variable for each label.  I wish product support was better for Bartender.
