Bartender Won't Print Graphics
I have bartender 10 and a Datamax I-4206. No matter what kind of graphic image I put on a label, it won't print to the printer. Everything else (barcodes, text, etc) prints just fine, but there is simply an empty space where the logo should be. I've tried png, bmp, jpg, greyscale, b&w, but absolutely no image will print.
Any troubleshooting tips would be most helpful.

First off, are you using Seagull printer drivers? If not, make sure you install them from http://www.seagullscientific.com/aspx/free-windows-printer-drivers-download.aspx.
If you are, then I would disable all of the options on the Performance tab of the Print dialog (particularly 'Allow Static Graphics' and 'Allow Graphic Caching'). Hopefully that will help

Using seagull drivers, and unchecked the boxes per your advice. No joy. One thing I did notice is that the Datamax won't print logos from other programs too, including word, so it may not be a bartender issue, sadly.

Hi twinstead,
Try factory-reset the printer, following user guide.
(perhaps you can do from Driver property > Tools > settings)
Make sure you installed the latest Seagull driver for proper model.
If that's not works, I recommend to ask your printer reseller or Datamax's service.0 -
BarTender 10.1 won't print graphics to my Datamax I-4206 either (using Seagull driver version 7.3.3). But if I use a different labelling software "Label Matrix 2012" by Teklynx, then I can print graphics to my I-4206 just fine. So it appears to me to be a Seagull / BarTender issue.

Update: My I-4206 had Application Version (firmware) 2.08 in it. I upgraded it to 7.132 using file i4206_07132.zs and now BarTender 10.1 can print graphics to my I-4206. Note: you must update the firmware using the Parallel Port connection to the printer.I had tried earlier to use the serial port to send the firmware update, but the printer would not accept it.

Same issue as the above with Datamax printer and nothing seems to work - png file that I have tried inserting by embedding and lining also tried JPEG.
The printer preview shows everything perfectly, however will not print. I also updated all printer drivers to latest Seagull,
any help appreciated

Thanks for your post, we appreciate it. Unfortunately, we don't have the resources to print and test to a Datamax and give you an immediate answer. Could you please open up a case with Technical Support at Get Support? If you have an activated version of BarTender, you should attempt to print the printer code to see if the code for the image is being included with the rest of the label. Submit the printer code file you get to the Tech Support team, along with the label, and specific model (and driver version) you're using and having issues with.
