Concatenate 2 Iput Boxes At Promt
Hi,
We have a simple serial label that is a 10 digit number the first 6 digits are scanned, is it possible to have 2 promt boxes and scan into the first treat the CR as a tab then scan the second and concatanate to 1 number for printing.
Regards,
Richard

You can use multiple data sources (called "sub-strings" in version 9.4-) within one text field. Each can have it's own prompt, so that seems like the easiest way to do it. 0 -

That can definitely be done. Set up the objects as two separate text objects using substrings, and just set each one to use it's own prompt. There is a selection when creating the prompt that says 'use Enter as a tab', that will handle your using a carriage return to move between the objects.0
