Printer Is Skipping Labels
My printer is printing on every 8th label. It is a S4M printer. I am using Bartender 7.74 in XP Pro. I am trying to print serialized labels.
In page setup the page size is 2" by 0.5", the label size is the same with no margins. The labels are Zebra Supply 83311, 2" X 1/2" labels.
The same .BTW file prints correctly from a different computer with a Z4000 printer.

Make sure that you have specified the correct printer driver settings via the "Print" dialog and then "Document Properties". I presume that you need to select the gap sensing option.
You might also need to perform a label calibration on the printer. You can do this via the driver under the "Tools" tab selecting it from the "Actions" button menu.0 -
Thank you. Calibrating worked. It is printing correctly.
Had to look for the Calibrate function. It was under "Document Properties" - "Advanced Setup" rather than tools.
I never could find the gap sensing option. Although the "Advanced Setup" lists "Tracking Mode" as "web sensing".0 -
Sounds like you are not using a Seagull printer driver for your Zebra printer. I recommend you remove the non-Seagull driver and download, install and use the Seagull driver instead as this is of higher quality and will give better print performance.
Download the driver from here:

Why what type of printer driver you use matters:
