Job Prints More Then Wanted 追蹤

Hey all, I'm facing a difficult problem and haven't fond any solution yet. So I hope any of you have an idea.

I set up an template where we can print 40 labels per page. When for example print 400 copies I get the exact number of labels and pages. But when I take a number which is not a multiplier from 40 we get more pages then wanted. For example when I want 130 copies of a label I get 3 pages with 40 labels and 3 pages with 10 labels. So it prints the page with less label more than once, which is not needed.

I tried to enter the number in both “Identical Copies of Label:” and “Selected Records” as seen on the screenshot.

Most printers have a setting where the printer hardware and firmware is capable of printing multiple copies of a label or page.  This is a significant performance enhancement, because the application software does not have to send multiple copies of the label or page to the printer.

Some printers have difficulty in changing the number of copies per page during a single print job.  For example, if your print job was supposed to print 2 copies of the first label, 5 copies of the second label and 4 copies of the third label, and instead it printed 2 copies of each, then your printer has this problem.

From BarTender click on “Administer>Advanced Printer and Driver Setup…” option.  Then select your printer from the list, and click on the “Override Default Settings” option, disable the “Use alternate method to control data sourced copies” checkbox and press the OK button. Now try printing.

The “old” approach we used to have to fix this issue is as follows:

You will need to locate the "btwprn.ini" file which can normally be found at the following location:

C:\Program Data\Seagull\BarTender

Edit the file using notepad finding the "[Copy Incapable Printers]" entry and add you printer name as it appears in Windows (try both using the printer model name which appears under the “General” and the “Advanced” tab of the driver properties) to the list as the below example:

[Copy Incapable Printers]
Printer1=HP LaserJet 1100 (MS)
Printer2=HP LaserJet 5m
Printer3=HP Universal Printing PCL 6 (v5.4)

*Please note that this is just an example.

Thanks very much, that really helped!

As I haven't found the Administrator -> Advanced Printer and Driver Setup I tried the "old" approach and that really helped.
