Printing At The Same Position On A4 Sheet
Hello, I use bartender and excel data source. We print to a laser printer on A4 sheet. 2 columns and 3 rows (total 6 "labels" on a sheet).
I quote the word label because we dont print on an actual label, but rather regular A4 white paper, stack them, and cut them into 6 labels per sheet using scissors. Cutting using scissors take a long time and the cut is untidy.
We are planning to buy paper cutter which will stack probably 100-200 of these sheets, and cut them using its blade. However in order to do this, we need to be able to re-order the way bartender prints our "labels". Instead of finishing 6 "labels" on a sheet before moving on to the next sheet, it should calculate how many sheets it needs, and reorder the order so that similar labels will be in one of the 6 cuts made by the paper cutter. Whilst previously, using old design, similar labels will be in all the 6 cuts made by the paper cutter.
I have included the kind of paper cutter we want to buy, and illustration of what we want the order to be
Thanks in advance for your help

I originally thought that what I wanted to accomplish can be done on this window. But to no avail

You can only do this by cheating. Have your label design as the single A4 sheet, and then place your multiple serial numbers at the position for each sheet, and have them increment by the number of labels per sheet, and have them start a different start values.

Issue I have with doing that is I then need to design each label separately instead of only once. Can this be done using VB Scripting?

In general yes, you could do this using VB scripting rather than the in-built serialization of BarTender.
