Default 'document Properties' Darkness Settings
Hello good people of Bartender forums.
We have several hundred labels saved that we use regularly, and each one that we open within Bartender has a different darkness option in the document properties window in the printer drivers. The default settings for the print drivers is set to a Graphic Option of 10, however this does not reflect the darkness level of existing labels. Is there a way that we can change all of our labels at once, or do we need to open each label template, make the change and save it?
Thank you,
Josh

BarTender stores printer driver settings on a per document basis as part of the BarTender document file.
There is a setting in the printer driver that instructs the driver to ignore the document embedded settings and instead use the default driver config when printing. This is found under the "Tools" tab, click the "Driver Options" button and then under the "Network Settings" tab tick the "Share settings between all documents" checkbox.
From the printer driver help file this setting has the following description:
Some applications store printing preferences when saving documents. When this feature is enabled, the printing preferences specified from the Printers Folder will always be used, and any settings stored with documents will be ignored.0 -
Thank you. That is exactly what i was looking for. I have updated drivers and now see that feature. Thanks. 0
