Error Message 3905 Vs 3904 追蹤

I'm using Bartender 9.4 to print labels from a simple excel database.

One particular label template has an issue with a script-generated expiry date (which is fine, I am not seeking a fix on this at this stage), which is causing problems. On my PC, and various others, when selecting a particular record to print we get error message #3904, alerting to the error, and then giving the option to Continue, Edit Script or Cancel. On selecting Continue the script generates an expiry date, and we can print the label. However, on a particular PC we get error #3905 which does NOT give the option to Continue. The print box closes and we cannot print that particular record.

I have tried uninstall/reinstall and upgrading Office to 2010 as these were things that seemed to have fixed it on other PCs. All PCs are running the same version of Bartender Automation and Windows7.

Any suggestions?

Please note I am not looking for a fix for the script error itself - I know the problem but it is unable to be fixed at this point due to the way we need to print labels - rather why labels print on one PC but not another.

Thanks

It seems that on this other PC the exception is triggering message #3905 instead...

If you access the "Administer > Application Message Setup" (or "Tools > Application Message Setup") in BarTender and now locate the #3904 message, how is the "Message target" setup? Is e.g. the option "Dialog (Interactive Use Only)" enabled or disabled? Is the #3904 message on this PC configured exactly in the same way as on the other BarTender PCs?

Ahhh, that was it! I changed the default for message #3905 and now the prompt will continue and print the label.

Thank you so much for the help, really appreciate it!

Hi Domingo,

I know this is really old, but I have the same problem as above and the settings are correct as per mentioned above.

Do you know why it prompts Error 3905 instead of Error 3904?

Thanks,

Ian
