Authentication of external users in Print Portal

Hello,

we are currently using Print Portal within our company. We have Bartender Enterprise installed.

With internal users on our domain authentication works perfect with Print Portal. But now we want to connect external suppliers to Print Portal, which have no user on our domain. How do we manage this?

Is SSO a possible solution for that or are there other possibilities to add authorized users in the administration console (e.g. by adding the e-mail address / password of the supplier)?

  Hi Jörg, depending on your security policies, you could create local users on the server that runs BarTender Print Portal, add them to group IIS_IUSRS and give the credentials to your supplier. But for your supplier to access a computer in your network you need some kind of VPN access and that should have credentials attached. Can you not use those?
