Warning #3707
Hello,
I am having an issue with Bartender where when a label file is transferred between users, we get a Warning Message #3707. This occurs after another user opens my label file and then attempts to print. When we adjust the page setup dimensions of the file the warning goes away but once the file is opened in a new computer the warning message reappears. Is there a way to lock the printer / page setup settings so that when the file is transferred we do not have this issue?

If the BarTender cannot find the printer that used to create the label, then it will open the label with the default printer instead. Make sure that both computers are using the same drivers and that may help.
If you are using BT2019 then it maybe worthwhile setting the default BarTender printer to be the driver that matches the original PC. You can set this from inside Administration Console and the Default Printer button (choose the printer from the dropdown and click on the bottom option). Also in Admin Console you can prevent the wrong printer from being selectable via the Prevent All Usage... tickbox.
With the default printer set and if it is the same as the original PC then that should remove the page setup warning message I would expect

@PeteThane,
Do warnings stop the print job from being processed?
Thanks,

It depends on the message and response given (manual or automatic). For example for 3707 the message will ask the user if they want to automatically change the page size or cancel
If you click on the Help it will explain how this works and what happens if you turn of the notifications.
For 3775, sometime ago I disabled the Dialog warning and as the default is Continue then even if this error is triggered the system continues to print, albeit with potentially clipped data

Thanks Pete,
I am trying to use a BTXML integration, but I am having trouble handling cases where the job doesn't print and then serving a message to the user about why.
So I am now trying to figure out if I need to capture each warning, error, etc? Or is there a clearer way to understand that the job did in -fact print and then where I can go to get why it didn't print in the case it did not print.

Hello!
my printer changed the original ip to another code, now the Bartender does not recognize the page configuration, even when the ip returned to the original the bartender behaved the same way, I tried several drives, I searched everywhere looking for a solution without success, I think the problem is in that ip but I don't know how to proceed, can someone help me?!0 -

Try changing your default printer for BarTender in Administration Console to the correct printer first and then open the label and see what that does.
