Traceable Label 追蹤

I'm new here and I'm new to this software.

We palletize our product and we want each pallet labeled with a barcode so we can trace them every time we ship them out. Each pallet might have one lot code or a mix (of lot codes), is this possible?. When we ship them out, we would like to know what lot code(s) in the pallet. Any suggestion for a good template for my case?

I take it these are for internal use and you are not trying to implement a SSCC type pallet label system and so I will assume this for the comments below.

Creating a unique barcode is fairly simple as all you would need to do is enable the Transforms>Serialisation option for your barcode, the difficult part is logging the lot numbers.

BarTender is label design software and is used to print labels and is not a database system. Saying that, depending on your version of the software there are ways to log and write information "printed" on a label on a label to a database, but these can be quite complex. Normally in situations like this you would have a system that would handle the logging of the various lot numbers and then that would allocate a unique identifier and tell BarTender to print the relevant details on a label for you.

Thanks, Peter.

Yes, the plan is to use a label internally. So, when the pallet is ready (full), a line operator will print the label with the barcode, and all the lot codes in the pallet are traceable back to the barcode. Usually, the product will stay in the freezer for several months, and once it ready to ship, the shipping personnel will scan the barcode, and all the lot codes associated with the barcode will somehow show up in the system marked as shipped.

Right now, we are using an old version of Bartender, any recommendation of your product that might help suit our needs?

It sounds like what you need to do is create something in your system that the users scan/enter the lot number onto a pallet and then when completed your system outputs a pallet number say via a BarTender integration to automatically print you a unique pallet label.

When shipping the pallet you would need a process in your system for the users to scan the pallet number into and then that looks up the pallet and records in your system that those lots have been shipped.

BarTender is a label printing package and what you need are some software developers who can create such a system in your business management/control system
