Windows 11 problems with XP-460B
Since upgrading to windows 11 the printer has been going crazy, it almost never stops scrolling at the end of a single label, it just beeps when if over shoots. I have to press the page feed button to get to the next perforation.
When printing multiple labels it adds blank labels in between, again sometimes I get the beep and it stops scrolling half way through one of the blank pages. In a large label run I have to press the button several times and probably use twice as many labels as I need to finish the run.
It's getting bit frustrating and help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
Stefan

Are you using the latest Seagull driver release (2021.2) as the earlier versions are not Windows 11 compatible?
You may need to look at the Printer Property settings in the driver and perhaps adjust these to match the type of label stock you are using as it sounds like it the printer is not registering the end of the label correctly.

Thanks Pete, I never changed any settings, the only thing that changed was the windows 11 upgrade. I am indeed on the driver version you posted above as well.
My setting on that page did differ a little though, I had 'direct thermal' and ' label with gaps' selected. I have changed to the setting you have in the screen grab above and will see how that works out over the next day or two.
Thanks

With the settings on my screenshot then the printer will use whatever the defaults are for the unit. I would suggesting cycling the power on it first too. Settings sent via the software/driver will override the base settings in the printer and so before trying to print, see what happens when you feed a couple of labels after you have cycled the power first.

Thanks, I'll get back to you and report my finding when I have printed a few labels out. Monday tends to be my busy day for labels so I will know better then.

I'm afraid this is still doing the same thing Pete. Any more ideas?

What happens if you enable this option from the Printer Properties>Tools>Configure option?
You could rest the printer to defaults (routine below) and then try feeding a couple of labels. If they feed correctly then in BarTender set the Media Settings and Type (shown in the image from the earlier post) back to Use Current Printer settings and then try printing from BarTender.

Just realised I missed of the default routine, but actually you probably only need to calibrate the unit by powering it down and then turning it back on holding the feed button until the light flashes red and then release the feed button.
