How can I stop every record from being printed when no record is selected

Hi

I am using the record picker on a data entry form where an operator selects a record and prints through the print portal app. But if no record is selected and print is clicked every record in the database is printed. Is there a way I can stop this from happening as some of our databases have a few thousand records.

We are using Bartender 2021.

  I believe the issue you are experiencing might be connected to a known bug that was resolved on a later service release for BarTender 2021. Could you tell me what BarTender Service Release are you currently on?
  
  You can find this information by navigating to the "Help > About" menu on BarTender Designer.
  
  The latest service release for BarTender 2021 is R7. If you are not using this revision, we would recommend you download our latest version from our website and follow the steps detailed in our article on How to Update BarTender's Service Release so you can update your BarTender release to the latest revision.
  
  Once BarTender is updated, please monitor the issue, and let us know if updating to the latest revision fixed the issue. If it didn't, feel free to reach us again and we will continue troubleshooting this issue with you.
