I am currently experiencing an issue with print portal on 2 servers. When labels are printed they are off horizontally.
I have tried a number of fixes, including upgrading software from 2021 R7 to R8 and completely uninstalling and re-installing Bartender (now on 2022 R2)
When printing from Print Portal the labels preview OK, but when they are printed they are off horizontally.
The only way I can fix this is to set the printer's printing position horizontal offset by 15mm. Even if I set this however part of the label is cut off.
I have tested these labels on a personal laptop and within my office environment and the issue does not appear using the same labels.
In designer I have checked the dimensions of the labels and all are set to the correct size of the label. When the labels are printed from designer and not from print portal- they print correctly.
These labels were previously used in bartender 10 and have been moved across and saved into the new format of 2021 to be used with Print Portal.
I have tried multiple devices that are connected to the print portal and all are printing off incorrectly.
The customer in question have around 25 desktops and 25 associated printers. They are currently still using Bartender 10 until this new application using Print Portal is operational. If I am to change the printer settings to horizontally offset it means they cannot use their current Bartender 10 system.
The devices in question can print using the same labels via Bartender 10 to the printer and it works fine. If that device prints from print portal to the same printer, the labels are horizontally off.
I have even tried setting up a brand-new label with the same dimensions and it still prints offset.
Furthermore I have reinstalled the printer drivers on the server itself
Any help is appreciated as I have run out of ideas to resolve the issue.
