Custom Label Size Help
Hi
I created a new custom small size label as per the training video however the printer doesn't seem to pick up th new size and prints as though our standard large label is loaded.
I did notice the step where the unused space is defined seems to be missing from my version, have tried it on seperate 2 pc's with 2 different printers and have the same issue.
Can anyone advise where I'm going wrong
Thanks

If the label height is say 8mm for example, then set the page height and label height to both be 8mm. If the printer is able to register on the height of the labels okay it should work fine. Maybe you need to calibrate the sensors on your printer, adjust the sensor position alignment, or perhaps the height goes beyond the ability of the printer.

Appreciate the reply, however surely it can't be the printers as we are getting the same fault on 2 different workstations/printers. The new label wizard completely misses out the single/multiple label screen and also the unused space screen.
Due to the new version/old product key business we had to download a legacy version, could this be the issue?
Thanks

These issues are always either: 1. A printer issue where the sensor needs to be calibrate, aligned, or label length recalibrated. 2. A printer issue where it is simply unable to manage the labels being fed through it. 3. Incorrect printer settings as set in the Document Settings of the printer driver. 4. Incorrect page setup in the application (BarTender) in use.
There is insufficient information presented to do do anything but speculate at this stage. Perhaps attaching your BarTender document file will help, and letting us know the make and model of the printer in use.

OK Thanks, I recalibrated the label in the driver and that seems to do the trick.
Just for info, do you have to make adjustments in the driver as well as using the BT wizard with every new label? I don't seem to recall doing it with our first label.
Cheers

The driver default settings is you start point for new labels. If your start point just happens to be what you want then cool. Otherwise make the adjustments via the Print dialog "Document Properties" button.
