Setting Up Driver On Win 7 For Zebra Tlp 2824 Attached To Another Pc
I am struggling with the installation of the Seagull Zebra print driver on my Windows 7 64-bit PC. I need the driver in order to make use of a Zebra TLP 2824 printer that has a USB connection to another PC on the same local network. It is a shared printer that is already accessible to a Windows Vista PC on the same network.
Can anyone point me to instructions that cover the subject of driver installation on Windows 7 for shared printers? Any help would be much appreciated, as I seem to be going in circles at the moment and getting nowhere.

Hello David,
If you have already installed our driver on the PC where the printer is plugged in, then make sure to share that printer driver over the network.
Once done, go to the PC where you want to use it as well and navigate to the network locations from "Windows Exporer". In the network, find the "Shared printers and devices" section and find the shared driver then right click on it and select "Install". This will install a client driver on the remote machine that will then send print jobs through the network to the driver installed on the original machine where the printer is plugged in.
Let me know how you get on.
Regards,

Hi Adrien,
Thanks for your advice. I will give it a try the next time the equipment is assembled together. We only use this group of laptops and label printers in a rented hall (using a temporary wired Ethernet network) on a few occasions each year to support the administration of an annual photographic competition, so it will have to wait until I have time to reconnect the kit at my home for test purposes.
