    Hello Ryan,

Thank you very much for your post.

Have you already set up your Database Connection? If not I would suggest to check our Training Video:

    http://www.bartenderbarcodesoftware.com/label-software/training-video-(reading-data-from-database).aspx

Once that your label and your database are connected if you click on BarTender "File" menu > "Print" item you can select the number of copies that you want per record.

In case that you wan't so select different number of copies for each record, if you click on the "Copies" button (at right) you can select the Quantity Source. You also can click on Select Records and indicate manually how many copies you want for each record.

    Please check the attached screenshot

    Hello,

Yes the database is already set up, i can print labels fine when i specify a qty. What i'm after though, is printing the same page ie 12 labels, but 20 times so i have 20 pages of 12 labels if that makes sense?

    Regards

    Ryan

    Hello Ryan,

When specifying the number of identical copies on a document, you are setting the number of copies per record (so you'll get X number of copies of that record before getting to the next one).

For what you need, you'll need to send 20 different print jobs of the same document with a single copy per record each time (using your example). Apart from manually sending these 20 copies I can think of a couple of possible solutions:

    - Probably the easiest way would be to create a batch of labels (using Batch Maker), but instead of adding different document, you add the same document as many times as you need (each with a single copy). *Note that batches can be sent to print from Print Station.

    - A second method would be to send the required print commands through an automation method. For example, if you use Commander you could include the 20 identical print commands on a single trigger file.

    Regards

    Thanks Fernando,

Unfortunately Batch Maker freezes when i attempt to print anything! Print station also fails miserably if i try to print from there too!

    Regards

    p.s. currently using BarTender 10.1 SR2 Automation on a Windows 7 machine

    Hello Ryan,

Both Batch Maker and Print Station should allow you to print, if they are freezing then something wrong with the software/installation/system is occurring. To verify what might happen we'll need more information on the matter, for which I'd like to escalate this issue to our technical support offices.

Please send us an email with your support number (from BarTender's "Help>About..." dialog) and a link to this forum post so we can take it from there.

Also please send us any error message you get when any of the above applications "fail" along with a detailed description of at what exact moment (and after doing what) the application doesn't behave as it should.

Below you'll find our contact details:

    Regards.
