Serial numbers not incrementing
I have an issue with labels that have automatically increasing serial numbers, eg I enter serial number 100, 3 versions, and it should print 100, 101 and 102.
Recently I have just been getting 3 copies of the same serial number, 100 x 3 as it were, instead. However, it is not affecting everyone that users the printer.
I recreated the printer in Windows, and re-installed the driver, which fixed it for some people but not others.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to what might be causing this please? Or where to start looking?
Thanks in advance, Mark

Hi Mark,
Thank you for reaching us in the Community Forums!
In order to properly troubleshoot this issue, we would need to gather more information:- Are the users printing via an integration, directly through BarTender Designer, or are they using other methods?
- Does this issue happen with all labels? If we create a quick test label on one of the affected machines and increment its serialization, do we experience the same behavior?
- Is the label connected to a database? If so, could you tell us what kind of database?
- Is the affected label shared with other workstations or do they work with a locally saved copy?
Also, in case the users experiencing this issue print directly through BarTender Designer, could you make sure that at the print menu the workstations experiencing this issue increment the serialization instead of the copies per serial number?
Thank you in advance!0 - Are the users printing via an integration, directly through BarTender Designer, or are they using other methods?
